What is Textcodes?

Textcodes is a platform that provides temporary virtual phone numbers from 150+ countries. You can use these numbers to receive OTP verification codes for apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok, Instagram, and many more.

How do I get started?

Create a free account, fund your wallet with at least $2 via Paystack (Nigerian bank transfer or debit card), then go to "Buy Number", select your service and country, and click Buy.

What happens if I do not receive an SMS?

If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes, your wallet is automatically refunded in full — no need to contact support. You can also cancel a number manually at any time before it expires for an immediate refund.

How fast does the SMS arrive?

Most codes arrive within 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The SMS appears on your screen in real time without needing to refresh the page.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept Nigerian bank transfers and Nigerian debit cards via Paystack. Payments are charged in Naira (NGN).

Can I withdraw my wallet balance?

Yes. You can withdraw to any Nigerian bank account at any time. Minimum withdrawal is $2. Transfers typically arrive within a few minutes after confirmation.

Is this service legal?

Yes. Receiving SMS verification codes on virtual numbers is legal. Virtual numbers are widely used by developers, businesses, and individuals for account verification. We do not support any illegal activities — see our Terms of Service.

Why did my number not work for WhatsApp?

Some platforms detect and block certain number ranges. This is not always predictable. If your number does not work, cancel it for a full refund and try again with a different country or operator.

How do I contact support?

Log into your account and click "Support" in the left sidebar. Fill out a ticket describing your issue and we will respond as soon as possible.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use HTTPS, encrypted databases, hashed passwords, and optional two-factor authentication. We do not sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use Textcodes on my phone?

Yes. Textcodes works on all modern browsers including mobile. A dedicated mobile app may be released in the future.
